I am a graduate of the National Institute of Design specializing in product design. I graduated in 1986.
Was a founding partner of Tessaract Design in 1985 (while still a student) till 2005 when Tessaract became Idiom Design and Consulting following a merger with Esign a graphic design and branding firm. Idiom is the largest design firm in the country (employing close to 240 people) and one of the few in the world that is multidisciplinary and holistic.
It does projects ranging from branding and identity to architecture, retail design, interior design and product design. Idiom works Primarily in the’ ideas for India’ area. I have personally been involved in the evolution of organized retailing in the country with a ring side seat of its development over the last two decades.
Some of the brands I have been involved with include Future Group formats Like Pantaloons, Big Bazaar, Central, Home Town, Mport Ezone, CollectionI Star Sitara and other brands like Godrej Aadhaar, Levi's, Sf Jeans etc.
